Artificial intelligence could help breast screening save more lives

A new artificial intelligence system is capable of surpassing human experts in breast cancer prediction. The system provided absolute reductions of up to 5.7% in false-positive diagnoses and up to 9.4% in false-negative predictions of the disease.
